I am analyzing nanoString and RNA-seq (and other -omics) data from IBD and cancer patients. With a talented, skilled, dynamic, and amiable team at UCLA CSBM we are developing strategies to empower experimental design and enable drug development decision making. Keywords related to this new scientific endeavor of mine include medical genomics and transcriptomics, bioinformatics and  biostatistics (of course), visual analytics, inflammatory bowel diseases, cancer, neuropeptide biology, adipocyte biology, Clostridium difficile infection, antibiotic resistance, neuroimmune-microbial interactions, and therapeutic strategies.
